World Premiere of our New Documentary!
This is a very exciting week for our team!
On Saturday May 10th our film THE LEGEND OF KINGDOM COME is premiering at The Music Box Theatre in Chicago. This project has been over 5 years in the making and has been a true labor of love.
Ask any filmmaker and they’ll tell you — making the film is only half the battle. Marketing and distribution is where the real challenge lies.
From the beginning, we knew our film had a unique place: at the intersection of indie film and comic book fandom. The Legend of Kingdom Come is a documentary about legendary artist Alex Ross — but it’s also about artistic obsession, creative legacy, and what it means to build a personal mythology through art. I wanted to make a film for the fans but also something accessible for art lovers and film fans.
Rather than chase a generic audience, we went all-in on those who would really care.
We launched a Kickstarter campaign with that same mindset — focusing on direct connection, authenticity, and collector-worthy rewards. And it worked. Not only did we surpass our funding goal, but we also built a real community of backers, collectors, and fans who have championed the film every step of the way.
Since then, we’ve leaned into that relationship. We’ve released limited-run merch, teased behind-the-scenes footage, and stayed true to the aesthetic that drew our audience in from the start.
And now we get to share it on the big screen.
