REMSY ATASSI is a Chicago based Syrian-American filmmaker and director of photography with a passion for creativity and a relentless entrepreneurial spirit.

RA Imaging was founded in 2012 as a vehicle for his commercial work.

Remsy’s 2022 feature film BAD ANIMAL premiered at the Tucson Film & Music Festival, going on to win multiple festival awards. It is now available to rent and stream on Amazon Prime, Tubi and other OTT platforms.

His current film, a feature documentary about comic art legend Alex Ross recently raised almost $500k via Kickstarter.

At RA IMAGING (est. 2012) Remsy has directed & photographed campaigns for clients including Loyola University Chicago, the Obama Foundation, Travelers Insurance, Gatorade, Grubhub, Bosch, Dodge, Porsche, FedEx, and Magna-Tiles. His work has been published in Rolling Stone, Forbes, Billboard, Pitchfork, Vice, and the Chicago Reader.
